Our engaging and interactive Kindermusik program is designed to introduce children to the wonderful world of music, right from the start! Through fun-filled group classes, we nurture your child’s musical abilities while fostering their cognitive social, and emotional development.

What You’ll Learn

Movement Control: Different movement activities help babies strengthen their core muscles, increasing their sense of balance and control over moments.

Social Adaptability: Group activities allow babies to experience familiar and unfamiliar social experiences in a safe and secure way.

Listening and Communication Skills: Listening to music and doing vocal play exercises helps develop a baby’s back-and-forth communication skills.

Language and Literacy Development: Introducing spoken sounds and rhythms through songs and rhymes helps support language and literacy development.

Self-Regulation: Associating music with tricky transitions like nap time helps establish calm and encourages self.

What can you expect from a Kindermusik ‘Foundations’ Class?

Listening: Sing it again…babies will experience a variety of songs and rhymes in different ways. Bonus: a parent’s singing voice is their favourite!

Vocal Plays: Your turn! Babies will participate in back-and-forth vocal plays and other parent-child interactions, helping them with early language development.

Object Exploration: From scarves to shakers, little ones will use all of their senses to explore a variety of safe, engaging props and instruments.

Bonding Exercises: The best part: parents and caregivers learn bonding techniques through touch, baby massage, and relaxation activities.

Why Kindermusik - Level 1?

The first year of toddlerhood is full of movement, exploration, and beautiful curiosity! We are confident that even young toddlers can build a strong foundation of musical skills such as tonal awareness, steady beat, dynamics, and more, and maximize brain development through strategic musical play.

What You’ll Learn

Body Awareness: As toddlers move in different ways, they begin to understand their own bodies and develop self-control of movement.

Gross and Fine Motor Skills: Toddlers begin to develop basic gross-motor skills and coordination, as well as better control over fine-motor movement.

Math and Language Fundamentals: Toddlers begin to recognize patterns in music and have an increased sense of steady beat, both skills linked to math and language.

What can you expect from Kindermusik ‘Level 1’ class?

Object Exploration: From hoops to mirrors to harmonicas, you and your toddler will explore new objects together to help boost fine motor skills and other key milestones.

Basic Music Concepts: Tap, tap, tap…Level 1 students will learn how to keep a steady beat and experience opposites in music, such as high/low and fast/slow.

More Complex Songs: You’ll take it up a notch and enjoy singing songs with your little one that include motions, repeated words, and different meters and modes.

Movement: Ready, set, move! Toddlers begin to develop control over small and large body muscles through finger plays, circle dances, and creative movement.

Level 2 (ages 2 - 3 years)

Why Kindermusik - Level 2?

From mobility to fine motor skills to vocabulary, older toddlers make huge developmental leaps. The Kindermusik Level 2 course takes a look at how to incorporate the right music and movement strategies to maximize joyful and memorable learning opportunities for this age group.

What You’ll Learn

Whole Body: Muscles used for posture and balance strengthen and toddlers gain alertness, self-control, and the ability to regulate movement.

Fine Motor Skills: Toddlers strengthen their finger and hand muscles, which increases fine motor skills needed to write.

Cognitive Development: With repetitive songs and rhythms, toddlers strengthen their ability to memorize, sequence, and predict patterns.

What can you expect from Kindermusik ‘Level 2’ class?

Identifying Sounds: “Oink! Oink!” Older toddlers will experience new sounds by vocally imitating and identifying them, and will learn to associate a picture with a sound.

Musical Concepts: From rhythm sticks to sand blocks, you and your little one will discover new instruments together, learn how they make sounds, and experience new musical concepts.

Language Patterns: “What comes next?” You and your child will sing songs with recognizable language patterns that explore rhythm, speech sounds, syntax, and rhyme.

Movement and Socialization: Hop! Spin! Tiptoe! Level 2 children will explore more complex movement concepts while learning to move and interact with others.


Level 3 (ages 3 - 5 years)

Not just playing instruments! Kindermusik Level 3 classes focus on that, as well as sound exploration, ensemble development, creative play, and more. Preschoolers will enjoy the fun of music-making while boosting all areas of learning.

What You’ll Learn

Language Understanding: Level 3 students gain a wider vocabulary and knowledge of story structures and learn how to decode and interpret symbols.

Cognitive: Preschoolers show a growing ability to memorize and recall information, and present increased attention and focus,

Listening and Sound Recognition: Children are able to detect patterns, nuances, and timbre in different sounds the hear.

Socialization: Level 3 students will learn to wait patiently, take turns, work cooperatively in a group, and communicate effectively and respectfully.

What can you expect from a Kindermusik ‘Level 3’ Class?

Ensemble Development: All together now! Level 3 students will play simple patterns as a group, building the tools they will need to create music in an ensemble.

Pre-reading Music: Take it one symbol at a time. Preschoolers will begin to learn to interpret graphic notation symbols in comparison to sounds, which is a precursor to reading music.

Creative Expression: What do you think? Through creative play, 3-5 year-old students learn to safely express their feelings and ideas through movement and music.

Instrument Play: “Da-dum-da-dum!” Your child will play a variety of instruments, emphasizing on steady beat, repeated rhythm patterns, and graphic notation.
